Much ado about nothing, but its a bit like a Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western, you either like it or you hate it. It is a piece of entertainment put there to both laugh at itself and hopefully take you along with it. With Steven, you aither hate hime or you like him. It worries me neither way but I still have to take my hat off to him for getting me to giggle in such a way. Morris Chessnut was in Under Siege 2 Dark territory, whom got his butt kicked by Catherine Heigl whom is more famed for her role in 'Grey's Anatomy' these days. There are plenty of things to enjoy about this movie, if these other reviewers were looking for Blockbuster stuff then turn and look elsewhere. These are not meant to be taken seriously and if you do take your movies too seriously then I can only say watch some rubbish like 2012 and believe the world is going to end because some filmmaker takes things to their extremes to get the big bucks.
At least you cannot accuse Segal of overplaying a part. There are the occasional films which make you look up and think, but this is not meant to be one. Just keep your eye on the ball and let it role. Just imagine you are in a pinbal machine and follow the ball on this ride.
Good fun and if anything a bit light on the certification. Worth a watch if you are true Segal fan. No long storyline and no fuss building up to a nonsensincle plotline that I have seen in the past.
Some of Stevens movies of recent have been hit or miss, more recently they have been miss, but at least this time it is comical and has some evidence of a better storyline and some decent characters. Worth A rental for the sheer entertainment value alone.
