Worst halloween film yet!
By weesteve91 (1 review) from Johnstone , 10 Oct 2009[Highly rated reviewer]
This halloween film has to be the worst yet. I love all the other ones even the first remake. But this one is just too different. it changes everything about halloween. Its not really that scary, and some of the acting mainly Sheri zombie and the new young michael is bad. i give this one star.- Was this review helpful to you?

(98)Not as good as Halloween - but worth a watch
By Franco72 (54 reviews) , 10 Jun 2013Like the title says - not as good as Halloween but worth watching if you're a fan of the series. More of the same high body count and also a psychological sub plot concerning the mindset of the Myers family - does craziness and psychotic behavior run in the family?- Was this review helpful to you?

Give Rob a chance...
By Jonzy666 (7 reviews) , 07 Mar 2013Poor old Rob Zombie, he had a real slating for this film. The poor bloke didn't even want to make it! He'd killed Michael Myers off in the first offering but the studio had threatened to get someone else in so he gave it a go. Although I loved his re-imagining of the first, I could understand why people's views were polarised. But the original Halloween 2 was not exactly a master piece of cinema now was it. I enjoyed this version, I liked seeing what had changed in the main 3's lives and how they were living (were being the operative word). It is dark, it is gritty and it is an uncomfortable watch, but surely that's what you want in a modern horror movie. Not as good as Zombies version of Halloween 1 but still much better than other remakes out there ( hands up whose seen the remake of Friday 13th). I do think Tyler Mane is a great Myres.- Was this review helpful to you?

worst film ever!
By a customer , 26 Jun 2012This has to be the worst Halloween film i have ever seen. The remake of the first film wasn't bad but this was just awful.
The acting was just terrible throughout. I would not recommend watching this film at all!- Was this review helpful to you?

not as good as 1st what a shame
By cheesekake (1310 reviews) from uk , 07 Apr 2012the 1st remake by rob zombie was very good, not as good as the very orignals but still canny, however this one is just terrible, I mean don't get me wrong rob zombie is really brilliant at directing and creating film, but this film was just a bit of blood, slashing and tedious scary stuff with no real story line, such a shame too.- Was this review helpful to you?
