Halloween 2

Picking up right where the last film ended, this sequel begins as Dr. Loomis (Donald Pleasence) pumps evil Mike Myers full of lead, then watches helplessly as the maniac killer stands up again and runs away. Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), the teenager last terrorized by Myers, is taken to a nearby hospital to recover from her traumatic ordeal. But Myers isn't through with her yet, and the fright-night monster works his way through the sleepy town, leaving a river of blood in his wake. With the exception of H20 the sequels to John Carpenter's 1978 horror masterpiece have been universally awful. However, like the aforementioned 1998 version, this was the only one to feature the original star, Jamie Lee Curtis, and is a better film for it. Halloween II takes up where the original finished, with Curtis being taken to hospital still in shock, but before long her indestructible nemesis is stalking her around the wards. Carpenter had a hand in the script but this is a by-the-numbers retread and the direction of Rick Rosenthal lacks flair.

You lot my be thinking that this film is bad because it is a sequel. THINK AGAIN

    Another Boggy-Man rampage.

2 Be Or Not To Be, Not To Be.

I was rather dissapointed with this as Michael Myers becomes 'creative' in his killing using things such as needles scalples and drowns people in hot water. Hes also started slashing tyres. It seems hes started to think which makes him far to human. Not the hollow killer we grew to love in the original. Also this version of Carpenters classic Halloween music is pretty bad, being very synthesizer happy. That said there are a couple of nice moments like the Police car crash, the bloody tears from Myers mask and a good looking throat slash as well as one good Myers out of the shadows shot. Unfortunately theres not enough shadows, kitchen knives, or general creep factor as the Hospital this movies stationed in is pretty dull. A missed opportunity i thought.
