After the misguided, Michael Myers-less Halloween III: Season of the Witch, the production team got its act together, and the result is this competent, if yawningly empty, slasher thriller. Danielle Harris steps into the Jamie Lee Curtis role, playing one of the last surviving relatives of the incarcerated psychopath, who once again escapes and heads back to his home turf for some more Halloween blood-letting. Donald Pleasence, acting only marginally less deranged than Myers, reprises his role as Dr Loomis from the first two films, but by now any genuine menace was seeping away fast.
Ten years after his incarceration in a maximum security prison, catatonic ex-knife-wielder Michael Myers (Wilbur) finds... read more on Time Out
A further unnecessary sequel, poorly made.
Not a bad film just because Mikey's back but I guess you could say its just a way to keep cashing in on the sucess of the first Halloween classic. If you watch this you might as well watch the 5 & 6 too.
This addition to the halloween series picks up the story line where the second film drops it. The only downside is with the use of weather and music there are times you know whats about to happen unlike in the 1st 2 films. But either way it's a film worth watching, if you likes 1 & 2 you'll enjoy this one just as much. If you don't like blood then my advice is don't even look.
this is as good as the previous films.it still carries the story plots throughout.

Being a huge horror fan, I wouldn't call this a horror film. It's not scary, - then again, what horror films are - but it was still enjoyable, albeit a tad predictable.
Good film.More suspense than gore,but a enjoyable watch.Recommended if u like horror.
a grate follow up to this film
Let's face it, the Halloween films are excellent. And this one delivers the goods again

Another round of dead teenagers. Another round of idiots who don't take the poor old Dr seriously and then have to scrape up a bunch of bodies. when will they learn?
If you like Halloween films this is pretty good
