When i was a child Hammer was king, and this series the highlight of a week.Upon re-viewing as an adult i was amazed at how long winded each episode was! Of course, there is a lot of fun to be had watching the famous faces of the day, in flares and kipper ties but (whether it was the nostalgia or not i'm unsure) i was interested enough in most episodes to be happily entertained.
