considering the quality of latest fims from jet lee and others this is not in their league. good for a laugh though especially the way the girl flicks her hair.. classic
Wafer thin plot, but when the quality and quantity of the action is this good you cannot fail to be impressed. A very young looking Sammo Hung gets to show his stuff with some Hapkido experts. It surprises me that this film has taken so long to get a UK release on DVD. Note - Jackie Chan's and Yuen Biao's roles in this are so small if you blink you'll miss them. They were more involved in the fights and the stunts.
Dull, even by martial arts movie standards.

very disapointed in this film and after watching it all the way through there was no sign of jackie chan
Although Sammo may be the name that you recognise, Angela Mao is the star of this hard kicking superior martial arts movie. The action is constant and there is none of the comedy that often slows down kung fu flicks. If you want tough old school kung fu with a twist, rent this now.
Really good film despite highly comical acting , Whang In Sik really unleashes some great kicks in the finale. Angela Mao is at her best. The extras are poor including very unnecessary commentary & demonstration by British Hapkido expert, that looks about as expert and agile as Dot Cotten is. Top class 'Old School' Kung Fu flick, well worth renting , great transfer/master and re-dubbed.
Despite the absence of Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao after thinking they were in the film, this film was really good.
The female lead put her male co-stars to shame with her display of martial arts skills and it was refreshing to see a woman conveyed as a physically and emotionally strong person.
This was great - a plot that made sense, pretty good acting, and tons of action with fight scenes by people who can obviously really fight. Very, very few wire/trampoline type tricks, just real people doing really clever, impressive moves.
