In a nutshell, this is March of the Penguins, the animation; though in fact George Miller's film was already well into production before the documentary turned into an unexpected global smash. read more »

I'm sorry.......
But I just don't get it. It took me five attempts to watch this film all the way through simply because it is such hard work. I can't believe so many people love it. OK, the musical score is flawless, but that's it. The characters are simply not loveable and I cannot sympathise with them at all. The plot is boring, I prayed that Mumble would get devoured in the most horrific way possible and quickly, so that I could watch something more entertaining. The kids loved this, but I fail to see why. It's just penguin, penguin, penguin, penguin, penguin. I would rather eat worms than watch this again.

Boring, boring, boring
I was bored within half an hour. This film is far too long, nothing happens and the animation is frequently poor and out of focus. Avoid like the plague and don't expect small children to sit through this drivel

Premiere of Happy Feet in London

Happy Feet has danced its way into the capital in one of the biggest premieres of the winter. The premiere of the animated penguin comedy drew a number of stars to Leicester Square, including many of the Happy Feet voice artists. Nicole Kidman, Elijah Wood, Robin Williams and Brittany Murphy were out on the suitably cool blue carpet to meet the Happy Feet fans and face the photographers.
