Robert Conrad plays Col. J Knox, a 'forced to retire' Marine Corps fighter pilot. After getting his wings clipped, Knox is press ganged in to taking the job of overseeing a troubled junior military academy.

Red West is his over the top, loyal companion, Master Gunnery Sergeant 'Top' Tuttle, whose role is to help transform the various troublemakers, jokers and rogues into a well oiled machine in time to win a major competition against another nearby academy. The main problem is... he has only two weeks to do it.
