two of the coolest in their primeBy brian green from scotland , 06 Feb 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]you must see this ,dont know what it is about it but this is a classic feel good film.
as a buddy movie the two leads really work whether knocking the sh!! out of one another or the bad guys, its fourteen years old & the stunts & put downs are still razor sharp today.
i just cannot get my head around the fact it wasnt a hit .
i have only one thing to say about the other review ' you have taste'

Tough guys do not polish their bootsBy SirSaucyRascal (37 reviews) , 31 Jan 2012I enjoyed this !!
It is excactly what it is - well made hokum and nothing more !
But these guys could act and they did look the part
before time destroyed their good looks and then their careers
Avoid like the plague !By opel (8 reviews) from Newcastle upon Tyne , 20 Jan 2012I rented this purely for curiosity value - I never saw it at the time of it's release . This is one of the worst 80's 'action' films I've seen yet .
The 5 gun toting 'heavies' clad in bullet proof long black macs simply walking slowly towards anyone with a gun - so erm , why does it take the entire film for anyone just to shoot them in the head ?
Mickey Rourke dissarming an armed shop robber with little more than a wry smile .
I thought Cobra was bad until I saw this - no wonder it was panned at the time - awful !!
All action lads filmBy a customer , 25 Jun 2011Excelent film when it came out 20 years ago and still is today. A must watch with two great actors.
Cheesey 80's action, not bad...By ThorOdinsson (95 reviews) from Newark , 17 Sep 2009Not bad, just par for the course in the 80's.
Full of cliches and cringeworthy cheesiness, but if you were a teenager in the 80's and you liked Schwarzenegger and Stallone you'll find this easy watching.
Lonely ViewingBy a customer from EDINBURGH , 22 Mar 2009Because this film got such awful reviews when it first came out, I was the only person in the cinema when I went to see it. I sat there as long as I could, then after 15 minutes bolted for the the door. It's dreadful and Mickey Rouke agrees with me because in interviews recently he says he thinks it stinks too! Who am I to argue with Mickey?
