I didn't watch it but my daughters instructed me to rate highly. Apparantly a better than average film.

  • Awful, a waste of time

Five of us watched it, ages 10, 13, 41, 63 and 70. At the end of the film we were unanimous in our verdict - 'What on earth was that all about'.

The 10, 13 and 70 year old fell asleep part way through!

well, all i can say is that those who've had some hard times in school this really reminded me of what did happen and how not everything is good, and its the way that we move on from those bad times that really count, i found myself crying at some points which reflected how difficult life and school can be, but like i said before its how you've moved on and grown and that's what matters and its something to look back on and remember that yes life can be difficult but then it reminds you of how good life is now and is going to be.

I think this is perfect for those kids who are in the same position, just to show that they are not alone and things do move on and grow hopefully into something better.

Harriet the spy was one of my favourite books as a child, I read it over and over. At ten years old I was yet another Harriet child-spy prodigy, with a thirst for knowledge of the ever-changing adult world. This film is a great adaptation of the book, highlighting all the emotional ups and downs of friendship and family. I was only 6 when this film came out, but I watched it again today and it had just the same impact on me now, reminding me of the importance of childlike curiosity and how it's something you should never grow out of. If you have children, you should buy them the book and read it with them. I guarantee you'll love it as much as them :-) ~peace~
