Most helpful review
Must see this film
By a customer from England , 21 Jun 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
Sitting in the cinema I am sure that I expected to see such a charming and funny film. The lead characters have excellent comic timing and the story is wonderful.
Romain Duris is charismatic and really perfect for this role.
If anyone ever doubts the french have a sense of humour please watch this movie. It really has everything - great cast, good story, wonderful scenery, romance. My positive is that I enjoyed this film so much I forgot about the subtitles. Three hours after seeing the film I was still recalling scenes and laughing about them.
My only negative comment is why is the Brit made out to be boring and a poor marriage choice?- Was this review helpful to you?

(246)What a Heartbreaker!
By gingerspike (410 reviews) from Grimsby , 30 Mar 2013A very enjoyable and funny film. The acting is suberb and the plot original and well executed. This French is worthy of all the positive reviews it has garnered here and elsewhere. A charming and very funny film.- Was this review helpful to you?

Best comedy out of past twenty we've viewed
By a customer , 26 Jan 2013Utterly fantastic - in the Comedy/World Cinema genre we often feel that Comedy is the missing factor but Heartbreaker had us laughing big time this evening - haven't bothered to write a review before but wanted others to see this (best for loved up couples possibly) . It's basically a spoof of the Bodyguard mashed up with Heist movies and plenty more . The four main actors are equally brilliant and the script and plot never let you down for a minute. Great to see Egg in action again but you have to hand it to French filmmakers and actors - respect . and well - thanks - just pushed Departures off the top spot.- Was this review helpful to you?

Give it a go!
By SuzLouD (38 reviews) , 11 Dec 2012Put off watching this for a while as I was put off by the subtitles, I don't remember putting it on my list, I eventually watched it and was glad I did as I really enjoyed it and got used to the subtitles quickly. I would recommend this film as very well made and watchable all the cast were very good.- Was this review helpful to you?

Film has subtitles - but don't be put off
By a customer , 23 Nov 2012Great film - didn't realise it was subtitled and the odd bit of English - the wife gave up on it but I'm real glad I watched it - the main characters sidekicks are funny- Was this review helpful to you?
