Younger children will enjoy this Danish-made cartoon, voiced in its English-language version by, among others, Alan Rickman and Terry Jones. The easy-to-follow plot has a small child accidentally swallowing a nutty professor's fish formula, which turns her into a starfish. Her friends swallow the same potion, and follow her into the sea to give her the antidote. But when a shark's ambitious sidekick accidentally tastes the antidote, he is sent speeding up the evolutionary ladder, and hatches a plan to control the oceans. The animation is bright and breezy, with some neat visual touches, and the young heroes are cute, but not too cute. Even the songs are OK. Nicest of all, though, is the film's general reliance on traditional animation techniques, rather than hi-tech wizardry.

Kids loved it. If you like movies like Sharks tale and Finding Nemo you will enjoy this little aquatic romp. Although not as good as it's counterparts i still had trouble getting the kids to let me send it back
