Strictly for juveniles and even then at a pushBy a customer , 22 Dec 2011Lightweight nonsense for under 15s or lower and even then if they have absolutely nothing left to do. Cheesy songs groaned by would be Bob Dylans took up the slack in the script and the characters and plot lacked depth,
Good, but slowBy a customer , 12 Oct 2011This was lovely little film which I did enjoy watching. The story is told v e r y slowly however, so I did start to do other things [like playing games on my phone] while viewing just to help pass the time.
Lame gibberish from start to finishBy Arval (6 reviews) from Ashton under Lyne , 22 May 2011Sadly, this is saccharine gibberish dressed up as a 'faith' movie. If you like heart warming nonsense about the restorative power of a water stain that looks like the face of jesus then this is your cup of tea. If that sounds rubbish to you, then that's exactly how bad this film is. IT IS AWFUL.
Reflective ModeBy 5ft7offootballheaven (300 reviews) from London , 31 Dec 2010Loved this one. Totally unlike a normal Luke Wilson performance. Lots of things to ponder over - all the important stuff - life / death / family / childhood / happiness etc etc. Great shots of suburban LA.
Excellent soundtrack too.
Not that badBy mattvilla (2 reviews) from York , 22 Sep 2010I thought that this film was quite good. I can see why somepeople wouldn't like it. They may see it as some religous message, I am an atheist and was not bothered by the religous aspect of the film.
I thought Luke Wilson was convincing in his role and I enjoyed the relationships he bulids with the other characters.
Dont get me wrong, this isn't a great film, but it is a good film. Not my usual type of film either but would recommend it.
