If you don't know the full story of Henry VIII's wives, this is a must see. The tale is fantastic... lust, murder, betrayal, adultery. A Steven Spielberg version would have been much more entertaining. But this documentary, with its kooky narrator, does the job.

A marvellous retelling of Henry VIII's dynastic desires. If you love the history of the Tudors, then this is for you. Enjoy!

I thought that this film was much better than some of the other historical films around. I found it to be a real portrayal of how the tudors would have lived. It also shows a true portrayal of the king who in recent years has been made to look much different in appearance and in attitude.

    I thoroughly enjoyed this film

I haven't even watched it. after the first 5 minutes i was taken aback by the actor choice for Henry. awful. really bad! the old henry is awful and the young one is like a royal fool. completetly opposite to what you would expect Henry to be. so i didn;t even bother with it. not for someone who is Tudor fan and knows about Henry and his personality.

This film provides an overall examination of Henry VIII and his six wives. More detail would have been a plus point.

However, the costumes, set, acting - especially from Mitchell as Henry - make this a rewarding overview of the period.
