Herbie Fully Loaded is an old classic brought up to date. The original Herbie comedy is still here - squirting oil and hitting people with the bonnet etc., and it is still very funny.
lindsay lohan is excellent as the tom boy racer maggie. my children loved this film. it is well worth renting out.- Was this review helpful to you?

Oh, what the hell – just go with it!
By TheWatchman (520 reviews) from Suburbia , 19 Feb 2011It’s silly. It’s daft. It’s over the top. It’s completely formulaic and, only unless you’ve never seen a film before, will you be trying to guess the ending. However, it’s pretty good.
It’s a children’s film – unashamedly so. My young daughter loved it. It kept her entertained and enthralled. She laughed when she was supposed to, so the film did its job. It’s not really meant for adults and I haven’t seen the original, so I can’t comment on how faithful it is to the source material.
Anyway, it’s silly fun. Don’t take it too seriously. Just be glad Lindsey Lohan bothered to turn up to the film set so she could actually make something decent.

Fab family film
