Tedious, I could not watch anymore than 20 minutes of this rubbish. Typical overblown American TV trash. Don't waste your time, get a life!
Im not particularly into watching tv-series when aired on telly, as I find it too hard to commit to a time and day of the week so inevitably I end up watching the first episodes but give up half way through. Heroes was no exception but after watching the first 2 episodes I knew I had to get the series on DVD because it was just too good to miss! I loved every episode of it and in order not to give out any spoilers I will not get into the details. But...Believe the hype. This IS really good. Extremely well executed, it looks fantastic, the special effects are better than any TV series out there and the story grabs you and refuses to let go until the very end. The only criticism that I can think of is that in spite of what Tim Kring says, it is plagiarising X-men. Not that this is a bad thing but to claim otherwise is a bit embarrassing when the similarities are huge. Some of the characters even have the same powers as the heroes and villains of X-men. But I love it and I know of lot of people who are not into sci-fi but still loved the series. I cant wait for series 2 to come out on DVD (as unfortunately I dont have the patience to watch it on telly).

In Obsessed he plays – ahem – Derek, a businessman whose investment firm is flourishing, and who seems to be on the fast track to success. In fact he’s already there: he’s wealthy, happily married – to his former secretary – and... Read more
