    Tedious

Tedious, I could not watch anymore than 20 minutes of this rubbish. Typical overblown American TV trash. Don't waste your time, get a life!

A Must See For Any Superhero Fan

Although This title is not out on DVD yet I have been watching this series online and it is amazing. This is the new Lost, the twist and stories in this series are so well thought out that they all fit, although at first you really don't see how and unlike Lost its not patchy and you don't lose interest or want to gauge your eyes out after the 2 millionth flash back. The Indesructable Cheerleader, A Flying Guy, A guy that can paint the future and the best charactor Hiro who can bend time and space all these players make up an amazing series which is very addictive.

If you like The X Men series, Smallville and all other action/comic book hero type efforts that come across the pond you are in for a real treat Book it reserve it beg borrow steal for it, I have :)

Save the Cheerleader Save the World!!!

Heroes is now on it's 20th Episode in the US and every episode is pure quality, leaving you helplessly on the edge of your seat after each episode counting down the days until the following piece of this well written jigsaw. Tim Kring should be proud of his masterpiece here, move over LOST and Prison Break, there are new Heroes in town. Can't wait for the dvd release!!!!

    Oh... hereos

Oh my god... finally a programme that sits on the intellect scale somewhere between friends and lost... doesn't kill your brain. Plus it fills my need to still be entertained with superhereo characters. It's as close to perfect as TV can get and thats coming from someone who seriously dislikes TV.

    Over rated.....

This series is EXTREMELY over rated & I couldn't get into it at all. If you have an anorak (as opposed to a life), then rent it. Otherwise, save your time and watch something else.

How to Stop an Exploding Man

I really really wanted to love this series and in parts i really did.

I have finished the first series and in retrospect it didnt quite atain the flow and quality of say 24 or Prison Break series1. There are alot of filler episodes in there and when its all said and done its a bit of an anti climax, with alot of plot directions that just baffle and annoy.

The characters are what make this series. If you know your superheroes then you will be amazed that the Xmen didnt sue, cos pretty much all the xmen's abilities are represented! Dont worry though no spandex, its done in a 'Unbreakable' way.

I found all the characters bar Hiro(by the end) and Niki(in the middle) brilliant. Those two at some points just ruined and slowed the tone of the series.

    Cant wait for series 2!

When this series is good its AMAZING, just too many episodes were simply average.

the most over hyped show in history

This is just a boring waste of space with charisma free characters and obvious cliched writing. If you like this, I'm afraid you need to get out more.

Quality!! Much more than 5 stars!!!

This is TV at it's best. I'm left on the edge of my seat after every episode. This is up there with 24 and lost and that takes some doing!! If you've never seen it, I suggest you do as soon as you can.

    Watching out for a Hero

If you loved x-men and Superman then watch this, it's better than both of them. As the episodes go on you find out what links them all together and the most unlikly characters turn out to be the greatest heroes of all. I've been watching it on the tv but couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen so l've watched several episodes over the internet. For anyone who likes lost watch this you will like it even more, there is always something to keep your attention.

    Nice idea - poorly executed

First half of this series is pretty good. episodes 13-22 start to drift a bit from the the central idea. The final episode that promises so much is a huge let down. I mean the whole series leads up to the final confrontation and it's basically a non event.

Take a minute and consider whether the actions taken by our band of heroes actually make any sense in the context of their 'powers' or their characters and you cannot help but see how badly constructed this show is.

You really do feel cheated at the end. A case of an advertising budget bigger than it's production budget.

I've been in the states watching series 2. Unfortunately so far (episode 5) it has only become more convoluted and weak. There is no 'story' and nothing to tie the numerous threads together.

    Predictable, light-weight rubbish

Interesting idea, which is why I rented the series, big mistake, number 2 is on its way. Americanisation renders story puerile and uninteresting. Will appeal to children.

I then got the 2nd disc! Grief! It got worse! Utter tripe! What was irritating in the first disc was repeated ad nauseam and cliché followed cliché and I had to stop, truly for the Brain dead.
