    Finally had enough

I've never been a fan of this show but always felt a bit like I was missing out if I didn't see it. But there's only so much of this dire rubbish I can watch. The show has no decency or taste whatsoever - a teenage girl being brutually injured time and again isn't my idea of entertainment. It's always been a bit sick here and there, but this series really went too far. One scene early on in the series actually shows an innocent woman being burned alive by her attacker with lots of sickening detail and screaming. At that point, I decided this show really didn't deserve another moment of my time. The characters are almost all dislikeable losers with constantly changing personalities - one minute we're lead to hate someone, the next we're expected to sympathise with them. Thank god this is fictional, if these rejects really were the only ones who could save the world, we'd be doomed.

    Highly Rated Reviewer... Says Who?

This Highly Rated Reviewer sounds like an idealistic, there's good in everyone, tree hugging, over the hill sap. I am not a huge fan of the superhero/comic genre but I can still appreciate it for what it is. If you don't like films/tv such as Superman, X-Men, Buffy, Supernatural, Hulk then why even bother?

If you believe Bambi's mother is still alive and watch 'It's A Wonderful Life' every Christmas, then this show is clearly not for YOU.

    Heroes, No More

After loving series 1 and being frustrated by the writers strike damaged series 2, I was looking forward to a fresh new series 3.

Unfortunately silly plot strings and the repitition of old storylines has turned me off. I found it hard to get through the first 2 episodes where as series 1 I couldn't get enough.

For me its time to walk away from this amazing idea spoilt by over elaborate plotting.

    Is it just me...?

Just reading over the reviews for this title, and I feel as though Heroes isn't getting the credit it deserves. Maybe it's just me - but I'm loving this new series and can never wait until the next disc comes. In my opinion alone, it's one of few Sci-fi titles to offer the ground-breaking special effects that this does - even putting that aside it has a complicated and yet engrossing plot. So do not be put off with what you've been reading, if you've been a follower of the series so far - give it a chance and see for yourself.

    Stick with it!!

After much anticipation the first disk (episodes 1-4) arrived this week. We love Heroes but the last Series was a little disjointed because of the writer's strike.

I think episodes1-3 were heading down a similar path to Series 2 with characters & script taking you to the future and present day on a continuous basis. However episode 4 really pieced things together and we now can't wait to watch the next disk.

    Heroes confuses me!

I rented the last disc to catch up with the final two episodes from series 3.

Having left a gap between viewing did leave me a bit baffled and I think this is heading the same way as Lost for me. Loved it to start with then interest started to fade.

Series 3 better than 2, but I don't like the fact that the writers can undo several episodes of build up in one scene with characters returning, changing, etc.

Its a shame as I really, really enjoyed series 1, but not sure I'l continue with the next one.
