The battle to save the world from evil continues in the second season of the highly-acclaimed, supernatural drama series, Hex. The drama continues with Cassie's (Christina Cole) realisation that the demon love child she thought she aborted is actually alive and growing at an astonishingly inhuman rate. The birth of this unholy child has released the Nephelim, a group of fallen angels whose prime aim is to get revenge on God by killing mortals. Traumatised, Cassie needs to find and destroy her own child to restore order. While her unspoken love for the baby's father, Azazeal, radically affects her judgment, she finds an ally in Ella (Laura Pyper, Reign Of Fire), a mysterious new student at Medenham College who possesses incredible powers and is waging a personal vendetta against the Nephelim.

A sinful sensation
Four Stars
'Hex' series two fails miserably in it's attempt to create at least a watchable series one follow up. For die-hard fans of this series only, though they may even find the introduction of new flimsy characters and obsurd story lines too much to follow.
The second season of Hex was fantastic, it is a cross between buffy and the xfiles. Constantly keeping you on your toes but bringing it all together, what a shame they did not continue to do more series. Excellent characters and story line.
