(7)Interesting film
By a customer from Torrington , 03 Jan 2011I thought this film was pretty good, it reminded me of other unethical psychological experiments such as Zimbardo's prison experiment..... Is the film unbelievable? Do the students have no free will or thought? Some may say that this scenario would not be feasible, but Zimbardo proved that the behaviour displayed in this film is possible.- Was this review helpful to you?

Ok teen movie of it's time.
By Kris7 from Isle of Bute , 24 Apr 2005The title says it all really - an ok teen movie of it's time, mostly about racism. It would be slicker if it was made today.- Was this review helpful to you?

Powerful study of race...
By a customer from LEEDS , 05 Nov 2004Powerful study of race, gender and class politics from director John Singleton. A challenging and thought-provoking film containing some excellent performances from the young ensemble cast. This film manages to be both educating and entertaining and is well worth a couple of hours of your time.- Was this review helpful to you?
