Possibly the worst sequel ever...
Highlander 2 has the potential of being the worst sequel ever made due to the fact the the original Highlander was such a fabulous movie.
After pretending like the first movie never happened, the story revolves around Connor McCloud being involved in the repair ozone layer! C'mon ... how ridiculous.
If it wasn't for the fact that the same guy who made this directed the first film, I'm sure he would be a taxi driver today... and I know that studios get involved and usually mess around and make great films just sometimes seem good, but there was nothing remotely good about this when it was just on paper surely, what a mess.
Steer well clear of this turkey. -

This film is so bad!!!!!!!!!!
If you are reading this before uou watch it - seriously get something else, even highlander 3, which isnt much better.
There is so much wrong with this film ,especially the bad guy, he's played by that guy from Total Recall who gets his arms chopped off by the elevator, and he's such a bad actor. The plot is just so full of holes i'm not even gonna begin... Sean Connery must seriously have been needing money to come back for this sequel... his part has no point in the film at all other than to allow his name to be on the front cover! Curse the scriptwriter for taking what is a coolish concept and making it dire filth. -
