After the disappointed Highlander 2 I found this to return to the original storylive. A worthy sucessor to the first film.
I thought that this version of Highlander was rather enjoyable unlike the prequel Highlander 2. I thought the idea of adding a Sorcerer to the series was a good concept. The only fault that I found with the film is that in parts the story does run weak.
The background Celtic music score, was much better than its prequels, music score. The Celtic music seemed to go with the atmosphere better than Queen tracks. The good thing with the film is it seems to ignore the story line of the second completely. And I thought that Mario Van Peebles was very good at playing the sadistic villain. Hope you enjoy the film as much as I did.
