    [Highly rated reviewer]

As a committed Highlander fan - even traipsing round the Highlands of Scotland on the banks of Loch Shiel and Glenfinnan (where, by the way - it was NOT filmed!) I despised Highlander two and three, and was delighted when End Game came out. I think it was a Highlander fan tribute, rather than a money spinner, and the film and video receipts reflected this!

It would have been nice to have seen a cameo from the lovely Sean Connery, but I suppose he has aged too much for us to believe he is a non ageing immortal - although, Christophe Lammiebear has gained a few years and a few pounds. But hey, if ANGEL, can do it as a vampire, why not CL? Lol!

I cried buckets when Duncan and Connor had a showdown but nothing is forgotten, nothing is ever forgotten!

FROM THE DAWN OF TIME WE CAME.

The film has such a sad undertone to the storyline. The scenery is superb and the script a very good one!

I enjoyed this, it's a good romp around town with swords, humour & love stories thrown in. I have seen some of the other Highlander films & don't really have much to say in comparison as I savour each on it's own and this was lively enough. If you want action & you like a touch of mystery with a few Highlanders thrown in then you will like it. Mind you I was surprised to see Donnie Yen but that made it even more enjoyable. Put your feet up sit back & enjoy.

  • Disappointing to say the least.

Loved all movies prior to this one. Highlander has always been a classic to me. Very disappointed in this one, thought the acting and effects very average. As movies have progressed highly, I kind of expected more from this film., but found myself distracted with other things than watching the tv screen. Think I may re watch the original to remember the movies with positive feelings.

What on earth was that all about?

Not having seen the previous Highlander films esp. the first, I had to keep back tracking to see if i had missed anything. If they are going to make follow-ups then make them free standing with a brief introduction. Think the Star Wars series.
