What on earth were they thinking? I can't believe I wasted time watching this!
OK the acting was generably mediocre, it was probably made for TV, probably on tight budget, but that is no escuse for such CHEESE!
At one point a group of immortals beat the c&/\p out of some thugs. Fair enough, but then a petrol tanker appears from nowhere and blows up. WTF? Had they just underspent on their pyrotechnics budget? This was followed by the group walking hero-like from the smoke, accompanied by Queen's 'Princes of the universe'? Is this a spoof? Is it ironic? I wish! That might have been funny.
That, along with the 'entire-film-recap-for-those-who-still-don't-quite -get-it' near the end, were the low points but none of the rest was much better. All the action (and most of the rest of the film) was entirely CG and not even done well.
Avoid!
And since when can you see all the planets in the solar system and the sun with the naked eye, at night?!
