Another video game-to-film adaptation, this flick sees a bald Timothy Olyphant as a hitman on the run from a determined Interpol agent...

Runs out of steam towards the endBy Bassman71 (701 reviews) from Didsbury, England , 09 Sep 2013French Director Xavier Gens take on the popular video game series which isnt as bad as I was expecting. It helps that Timothy Olyphant is in the lead as he portrays Agent 47 perfectly with the charm and danger that was required and good support too from Dougray Scott although I did think the great Ulrich Thomsen was a little under-used. It starts off well and there are some very good set-pieces which are well shot and the whole thing has a respectful nod to the game. Where it does fall down is that it starts to become a generic action film towards the end and Olga Kurylenko, despite looking fantastic, isnt that convincing.
Hitman Is a Hit!!By laneyb (313 reviews) from Rochester, Kent , 27 Jul 2013Really enjoyed this film, great story, great acting. Loved Dougray Scott and Olga Kurylenko, but top actor for me in this was the lead, Timothy Olyphant, he's quite the sexy actor!!
Pleasantly surprisedBy Jeniviel (24 reviews) from Smethwick , 16 Jun 2013Bored and with nothing to watch, I decided to give this a go, my heart sinking when I saw that it was adapted from a video game. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it - yes there was a lot of violence, but come on! What do you expect from a film called Hitman? Oh, and I am a middle aged woman...
A good watchBy ricoh (143 reviews) from Calne , 23 Apr 2013A good action movie, that rattles along at a furious pace. Worth a watch. Wont be everybody's cup of tea, but well received in our house.
Hit the Stop buttonBy The KnightWatcher (629 reviews) from Gloucestershire , 02 Apr 2013Extremely gratuitous violent , flimsy plot, CIA Interpol meets Ninja Turtles. Adapted from a video game and that tells you all you need to know. No depth.
