Absolutely awful!

Atrocious acting from everyone and not anything to redeem it - maybe if they'd used different character names it would have helped as having a different actor other than the young Macaulay Culkin just didn't work at all!

Good, although not one cast member from the original 2 movies appears in this film, which usually disappoints me straight away but the fact the 3rd one had a different boy and a different character (Alex instead of Kevin) I knew it was a different boy, but this time the Character Marv is still here and Kevin but different actors, the actor French Stewart who plays Marv makes his character funny but in a different way, which is good why would we want to see the same thing again, so a change in this case refreshed the idea and of course Missi Pyle as his girlfriend, not bad at all really, although the original actor who played Marv was one of the funniest things about the Home Alone movies, particularly in the first one where he had an iron burn mark on his face teehee! This all said French Stewart brings something new to the Marv Character and it really is quite good, but do not expect Macauley Culkin or any of the other actors from the Home Alone movies, it is quite different but the first 2 home Alone movies were quite similar so why would we want the same thing again.

I highly recommend home Alone 3 too which in my opinion was a bit better than this, but I like them all.

I had no words to describe it. The film has so many plots that make the movies so confusion, if it is actually a midquel.

Why does Kevin only have one brother and one sister, when he had two brothers and two sisters in the first two movies? Why is Kevin's mother and father divorced in this movie, when they were together in the first two movies? Where is Harry in this movie? Why does Marv have a girlfriend, when he is one of the dumbest criminal ever, and a woman even slapped him in Home Alone 2? He's not meant to be small, but tall. Overall, an insult to John Hughes. If he'd seen a good review for the movie, I think he'd be rolling around in his grave.

this is not as good as the first 3 so unless you want to watch the whole package of Home Alone films, dont bother with this one

after reading the reviews am glad i only wasted 50p on the video in a charity shop. i have watched home alone 1,2,3 and found them better than this its a total bore and should be removed from your rental list forthwith and disposed of quick smart it will ruin love film .coms good name my opinon is DONT RENT IT YAWN YAWN
