superb.........By williamsgwynfa (627 reviews) from gwaenysgor , 01 Apr 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]this film is superb. my children loved it. The story comprises of a thief named Alameda Slim, who is wanted in many states for stealing herds of cattle.
The farmers go broke after losing all their animals, and reluctantly auction their farms for sale.
Molly a cow, who has lost her home due to this situation, is now brought to a new one known as `Patch of Heaven'.
However, things start to go downhill, when Pearl, the owner of the farm, has to put it up for auction as well, since she cannot seem to pay the bills for keeping it.
Therefore, Molly, along with two other cows named Mrs.Calloway (voiced by Dame Judi Dench) and Grace (voice by Jennifer Tilly), decide to find some way to obtain the money needed to keep their farm open, by catching Alameda Slim and acquiring the reward money.
there are many obstacles in their way, which they have to face.
This film has a great selection of the casting for the voices, such as Cuba Gooding Jr. (giving the voice for the very funny horse named Buck), Roseanne, Judi Dench, Randy Quaid (providing the voice for the villain Alameda Slim) and Jennifer Tilly.
this film is well worth renting out.

Secret lives of farm animals....By a customer from Redhill , 21 Nov 2007A hugely entertaining tale of the secret lives and rebellious plans of farm animals.
We watched this several times.
Throughly enjoyedBy Abi Idowu from Bolton , 17 Nov 2007It was really good to see Dame judi dench in cow form, but it was very enjoyable and i think its humour was brilliant, i laughed through it all, lovely!
AverageBy a customer from Bristol, England , 04 Nov 2007I admit that I haven't seen this film myself, my boys aged between 9 and 13 (with social and communication disorder), said that it was 'ok', but they didn't seem too impressed I'm afraid. Maybe younger kids would appreciate this film more than my lads did?
A Few gigglesBy Deborabi from UK , 14 Oct 2007Yes entertaining a few giggles from the kids watching it first time round but not one I'd watch more than that, pretty average considering it's Disney think they tried to get back to the old style of Robin Hood etc and slightly failed.
Home on the Range - Okay.By Cornetto (959 reviews) from Lancaster , 27 Jul 2007Not as good as some of the other classics, however the children liked it.
