superb.........By williamsgwynfa (627 reviews) from gwaenysgor , 01 Apr 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]this film is superb. my children loved it. The story comprises of a thief named Alameda Slim, who is wanted in many states for stealing herds of cattle.
The farmers go broke after losing all their animals, and reluctantly auction their farms for sale.
Molly a cow, who has lost her home due to this situation, is now brought to a new one known as `Patch of Heaven'.
However, things start to go downhill, when Pearl, the owner of the farm, has to put it up for auction as well, since she cannot seem to pay the bills for keeping it.
Therefore, Molly, along with two other cows named Mrs.Calloway (voiced by Dame Judi Dench) and Grace (voice by Jennifer Tilly), decide to find some way to obtain the money needed to keep their farm open, by catching Alameda Slim and acquiring the reward money.
there are many obstacles in their way, which they have to face.
This film has a great selection of the casting for the voices, such as Cuba Gooding Jr. (giving the voice for the very funny horse named Buck), Roseanne, Judi Dench, Randy Quaid (providing the voice for the villain Alameda Slim) and Jennifer Tilly.
this film is well worth renting out.

great for kidsBy a customer from england , 19 Mar 2007this film was a little disappointing at first as it turned out to be a cartoon, but kids will love it as its got lots of singing and animals in it. I recommend it cause there is no violence like most films these days. good classic clean fun on the farm.
OKBy a customer from London , 09 Feb 2007Not the best animatition that I seen but watchable
Good old cartoon funBy Patrick Bayer from Nottingham , 29 Dec 2006There's no fancy CGI which means you have to use your imagination. A good family film harking back to the days of The Lion King. If you want to keep the kids busy for a short while then this is as good as anything.
Nothing Extraordinary!!!By a customer from Essex , 07 Sep 2006According to my son this film was okayish!!!! As I haven't seen it, hence my son's verdict is the one to go by....
