Trailers made the game look like it was going to be fantastic.Poorly put together, lots of bugs in it, takes forever to get into a online game and then to find out you have to pay 800MSP to get past level 5. EA poor effort.

i don't know why there is so much hate for this game, i thought the concept of the story was really good, the game leaves you wanting more! the problem with most people is that they always want to compare this type of game with call of duty and its about time people realised that CoD is not the best game in the world! I liked it and it you want a nice game thats fairly challenging (on the harder modes) then i recommend this game!

  • A Single-Sitting-Shooter with an Interesting Story

Homefront puts a twist on the average modern warfare shooter. Instead of playing as the US on a campaign to take out terrorist leaders, you're playing the US in a desperate mission for your very survival.

I completed this game in three hours on the 'normal' difficulty, and I have to say it's been a rather worthwhile rental. The physics of the game aren't too great, and I'll use the cliché stealth mission (that's thrown into every shooter!) as an example.

On Call of Duty 4, there's a mission involving stealth where you and a partner must evade and advance through enemy territory. This theme is repeated in Homefront, but there's much less feasibility and believability. Your squad simply runs past an enemy when his back is turned; it's as if your whole mission is riding on good luck.

I haven't played the multiplayer to this game (as I've heard bad things about it), and so taking the story on its own - the game isn't *that* bad. It's a 3-hour typical shooter easily capable of passing a boring afternoon.

The game should have been brilliant (story is very good)but the game engine and mechanics have let it down, alot of the time you can see bullets hitting you but no idea where they come from and by the time you turn around your dead,

played about 2 hours and done half the game, coudlnt stand any more, sent it back and definitely wouldnt buy the game,

good rental but you will only get a few hours out of the game,
