Despite the presence of original star Rick Moranis, the concept was clearly running out of steam by the time Disney made this straight-to-video second sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. This time it's the adults who get downsized as Moranis, together with his wife, brother and sister-in-law, are miniaturised by his shrinking machine. The effects are fine and director Dean Cundey (cinematographer on Jurassic Park) keeps the action bustling along, but it all seems a little old hat.

Well, if you've seen one of these films you've seen them all but the kids loved it and had a good laugh every now and then.
