Bland offeringBy perdita123 (14 reviews) from Arundel , 08 Mar 2013
[Highly rated reviewer]had high hopes for this one, brilliant actors but felt let down by the script, totally bland and beneath their talent also felt ending a disappointment.

No HopeBy a customer , 22 May 2013So disappointed. I thought with the cast and what sounded like a good story we were on to a winner, unfortunately it was sad and depressing and with a very weak script and not at all true to life. Felt like a real waste of time.
Less of a fim more of a manualBy beleclaire (23 reviews) from London , 21 May 2013Disappointing as a film with a minimal linear plot. There are only two characters in the film, everyone else including their children and the therapisrt are pretty much tangential. If you are curious about how sex therapy for couples works, however then it is mildly interesting...but you never really find out anything much about the hero and heroine so...who cares? Not me
Dull and not funny!By a customer , 20 May 2013Very dull and simply not funny! It has few redeeming qualities. Don't waste your time on it. A waste of two very talented actors
Good EntertainmentBy a customer , 20 May 2013Great entertainment... - laughter and some lovely emotional moments. Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones were just great together. Absolutely loved this film. Not quite as much laughter as I thought unfortunately given the trailer but good all the same
Caring movieBy a customer , 19 May 2013
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideThis was no comedy in my opinion but rather educational therapy. Some difficult viewing for those who may be in similar situations but hold on, there is hope in it. The acting is sensitively brilliant and the portayal of a couple in a tired marriage is true. Credit is due for tackling the subject. It's sincere, handled tenderly and it is very caring. Anyone needing help, this is the movie for you, don't shy away from it.
