Spare yourself the 'Rod'

This is a goofy comedy, and to be totally honest with you, not particularly in the best of ways. Loser Rod has issues with his stepdad and the girl next door, he wants to become something worthwhile so they have to sit up and take notice of him. His plan is a simple one, for him aided by his friends (or erstwhile back-up crew) to leap various objects... Evil Knivel style... on a moped... you get the idea. There are flashes of fun to be had in this, but they bite the dust as quickly as this guys latest stunt. If you just have to go out and watch a funny 'loser' movie there are better out there, example 'Superbad'. Its not a total flop, but I wouldn't jump through a blazing ring o fire to go see it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good movie to watch when you have some mates over

I was over at my mates house and he put on this film as he said it was funny.
We were all a bit drunk too (which maybe helped) but we were all laughing hard at this film.
It's just so random at times that it's funny.
I also like the lonely Island so that's prolly why I thought it was funny (I didn't even know they had a movie).
If you like american humour like Will Ferrell movies and American Pie I think you will like this one.
I can't believe that since 2007 I have not even watched this film until 2012.
Thanks for reading my review and rent this movie if you have some friends over one night ;-)

Very Cool Beans!

I strongly recommend anyone to give this film a bash, if your not expecting much and you've just stumbled upon this then your in for a treat.
Some of the jokes are a bit hit and miss at points, but the ones that hit actually made me wet myself laughing! Similar humour to AnchorMan and alot of Will Ferrell films ect. but with a lot more warm charm.
With alot of well-timed comedy stunts, and never attemps to take itself seriously, I really don't think you can go wrong watching this with a few mates and crack a few beers.
