Save the Clock Tower
By DrWilson (6 reviews) from High Wycombe , 22 Apr 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
Four blokes - three of them old mates, one of them John Cusack - are on a lame attempt to relive wild party weekends of the past in a now dilapidated ski resort. A quick leap in a HTTM later, and they've whirled back to Winterfest '86. It's Back To The Future meets Grosse Point Blank, just a bit more gross-out and a lot more sweary. Entirely stupid, fully committed and very funny, with a pulsing soundtrack - if you're an 80s alumnus, what more do you need? Chevy Chase? No worries - he's in it too...- Was this review helpful to you?

(162)A lot of fun with a little moral at the end.
By Kinkyfish (112 reviews) from York, England , 09 Oct 2012Do you know what? This film is very silly but in a great way. A little bit low brow and gross in places but that is sometimes all you want. A silly comedy not a million miles away from the Farrelly Brothers. It is not taxing on the brain but it is a great one to just sit back and laugh at, and after all is said and done, it actually has a great message about friendship at the heart of it.- Was this review helpful to you?

By gordalmighty (38 reviews) from Rhyl , 09 Sep 2012time travel films can't go wrong in my opinion and this one will never be forgotten for originality. this film is basically american pie with time travel.
but it has to be said that john cusack doesn't really fit in at all in this film!- Was this review helpful to you?

Comedy breakdown
By a customer , 01 Aug 2012The Americans are good at making funny comedies to my British taste, like the Fockers series, Little Miss Sunshine and Bad Santa. This film misfires all the way through, the script isn't funny and the actors play hard to make it funny but can't, over-reliant on bad language to give it a gritty quality that just palls after a while. The conceit in which their hotel hot tub returns them to the 1970s has a ton of comic potential - the temptations or incidents that make them deviate from only repeating their 1970s behaviour in order to get back to the future should be a zany riot. But it's a damp squib.- Was this review helpful to you?

Surprisingly good
By a customer , 31 Jul 2012Wasn't really expecting much from this film but enjoyed it. It's not the best comedy but it's funny. Worth watching.- Was this review helpful to you?

Time thief. Don't get robbed.
By plutes (2 reviews) , 31 Jul 2012Juvenile, Crude and Predictable. Don't waste your time and money. Can't believe that John Cusack would be involved in this film; he must be desperate. Hopefully he can pick himself up from this piece of garbage.- Was this review helpful to you?
