Welcome to Babylon, Hotel Babylon, that is; a luxury hotel with an eclectic workforce driving it along; Through a veil of consummate professionalism, the guests aren’t privy to the murkier goings-on but let head receptionist Charlie be your guide to what no one else is meant to see; glitzy manager Rebecca keeps the hotel ticking along but isn’t capable of balancing her working week with her home life; receptionist Anna has a seductive eye for the wealthier guests; concierge Tony can get you anything you need, just as long as you’re willing to pay; and then there’s the chambermaids – working on the frontline and seeing everything. But if the staff aren’t wacky enough, into their world come the guests; a mixed bag of millionaires, eccentric rockers and high class whores; a concoction of lethal and sometimes hilarious ingredients.

It's flashy, it's trashy, and it can't fail to be a hit
I thoroughly enjoyed this new series, the actors are all superb, especially dexter fletcher and the rather gorgeous natalie mendoza
the well paced script and good interaction between cast and guest actors all add up to great enetrertainment, well worth watching.
Brilliant! The writing as well as the performances - the Casting is excellent. Max Beesley is always a treat; Natalie Mendoza is very beautiful as well as very talented, Dexter Fletcher (new to me) is a welcome bonus, & Emma Pierson is very scary!
DVDs 1 & 2 each contain 3 episodes.
DVD 3 has only 2 episodes (the 2nd of which has a somewhat far-fetched storyline) -
though that DVD also has the Extra bits for the whole series -
including Tour of the Hotel (by Dexter), Directors Commentary, etc.
Roll on Series 2!
