  • Feel Good Film For Child Dog Lovers

Not really worth paying £5+ per person to see at the cinema (Luckily I got the tickets free though a Pets At Home promotion). Its a film that should have really just gone straight to dvd. It could have been a fantastic film, as its got a great storyline - a hotel for stray dogs run by a few kids. But it just didn't hit the spot. At only 1 and a half hours long, I got the impression it was aimed at young children under 8, rather than dog lovers of any age.

The dogs were very cute, and extremely well trained, and there are a few laughs here and there. The acting was good also. I thought it was worthy of 3/5 stars.

    Recommended on dvd.

this film is one of them that is cute and just all round brilliant but you really have to be a dog lover to like it most, people who want action and non cuteness, won't enjoy it

defo worth watching if your a big kid

A good funny family film to watch whilst stuck indoors. Kids seemed to like it and thought the boy's inventions were very clever. Just one question... 'what happened to their parents?'

There's a difference between slapstick comedy and stupid comedy. I got about half an hour through this film and turned it off. It was ridiculous. I have a great sense of humour, but this was poor.

The kids liked the fact that the children were the central characters of the film (along with the dogs). They enjoyed the drama, the emotion and the humour.
