An improvement over its predecessors, it maintains interest despite its unoriginality.
After the brilliant comedy/horror mix of House 2, and the detour into psychological serial killer horror of House 3, the series returns to it's beginnings... sort of.
Whilst it tries to tie in with the original film, it doesn't really work and even worse, it's just plain boring. The originals Vietnam flashbacks in the house, were some of the best parts, but because of completely different characters, they are sadly gone. The most chills this film gives you is putting you off pizza for a little while.
Sadly, avoid this title and just remember the legacy built up by the previous House films.
the house collection are classic comedy horrors.all thou house 4 is not the best of the bunch it is still an entertaining mix of comedy and horror.one you dont have to think about while you watch.enjoy
