The darkest season of House so far. Don't expect many gags - all of the comedy seems to have been deliberately replaced by the pure, brutal nastiness of House. Some may dislike this new turn, but for me it's the purest Laurie's character has been.

Oh, and the last ten minutes of episode one is some of the greatest television ever broadcast.

more of the grumpy medical maniac-love it,no point giving a full review-if your on this series you know all about it;the only question is how long can the writers keep up this standard???A long time hopefully....

What can i say except house keeps getting better and better. if you have watched all of the series so far you will not be disappointed rent it now. house never gets played out

House, at his best. Bit blood and gutsy for the start of the season but still also addressing issues in his private life. What will happen to Wilson?

Only watched the first two discs but can't wait for the rest to come as so far it's brilliant as always! House is still the same if not funnier than ever before.

Brilliant story lines for all the characters so far... can't wait to see how it all turns out.

A medical marvel

Not as gripping as season 4, House nevertheless continues to be entertaining and fascinating. Delivers another humdinger of a finale. Watch out for guest appearances from Meat Loaf, Breckin Meyer and Mos Def.
