Five's greatest US drama...
Got into this when they showed it on Ch4.
Superb medical show with excellent cast. The only sad thing is that Hugh Laurie has been stolen by the Americans. Who would have had the foresight to have cast him in this sort of thing over here?! Talk about change of pace.
Looking forward to season 3.
If you haven't see this yet - DO IT..
The second season of House is every bit as good as the first, a much welcomed addition is the shift of more of the focus onto the hospital staff than the patients. The episode 'Autopsy' stands out on this first disc as sublime.
House is well made but not over-glossy and the regular cast are excellent. If you have never seen House, you are missing out big time and must give it a try. It is funny, moving and instructive.
.... one of the only things I bother to watch, British TV being so very dismal at present and having been so for a long long time. I miss good drama, and good actors who still do the job for the love of it and not the celebrity of it. Hugh Laurie's portrayal of Dr Greg House is five star. The intensity, acidity and humanity of the character is quite engaging. However like a lot of good things it should go out at the top, and may be the current series be the last? Don't do to House what has been done to 24 that is overkill.

Forget E.R and Caualty! This is a medical series like no other!! Simply fantastic!!
Wouldnt it be fantastic to see Dr Cox from scrubs and Dr House pitting their wits against each other?? My money would be on House! I would pay good money to see that!!!!

This is one of the shows I just couldnt wait to come out on dvd. I found it very addictive and enjoyable to watch hope season 3 is on tv soon
I love this series. Hugh Laurie is absolutely brilliant as House and even has a convincing accent that sounds completely natural. This is an intelligent, interesting and funny show. Highly recommended to all.
Often shows loose their plots in the second serise, having done what they set out to do in the first season, but House manages to come back kicking and screaming!
Once again they have created a perfect balance between the stories of the charicters and the medical drama .. if you enjoyed the first season then this is a must see!

Whoever masterminded this show was on to a real winner!
Despite the same format - patient with problem, house discusses with others, others and house solve the problem - because of the diversity of the cases, it just keeps you guessing from beginning to end. I can't get enough of this series, and I hope it goes on for a long, long time.
Hugh Laurie steals the show with his cynical and hard edged sarcasm, but that's what makes this show great! I wondered before I watched the show what made the Americans pick a very British actor for this role - now I know, because he's GOOD.
excelent program well acted and good story lines
If you like clever medical drama's, then this series is for you. Hugh Laurie is brilliant and this is not too 'American sentimentality'. You don't have to follow each episode in order, but can dip in and out of them.
