By H0LLIE (198 reviews) from UK , 22 Jul 2010Jackie Chan's movies have been somewhat mediocre of late, yet when he is merely producing rather than starring the results tend to be masterpieces. House Of Fury is no exception.
This movie is superb.
The acting from all is brilliant, the characters likable and hateable were apropriate, the fight scenes are stunning and the direction is excellent.
The story, though nothing particularly origional, is still great, with a couple of nice little twists you may or may not see coming (but if you do it doesn't spoil it). It does lag a little at times but never for long enough to bore you. And there are plenty of moments to make you laugh thrown in without turning the film into an attempted comedy.

Very Enjoyable Martial Arts Film

Art house martial art

This takes you back to movies like THE THREE AVENGERS where martial art was well martial art with little emphasis on the storyline except revenge. I enjoyed this though it appeared slightly intended for a more puerile audience and the lead character did not possess the physical endowment for the intended role. House of Fun More Like

It was great fun from beginning to end. No idea who Anthony Wong is but he was fun to watch. Not sure how other viewers were not so hooked.
