We found this DVD to be very basic - in fact quite boring for experienced gardeners.- Was this review helpful to you?

This is for real beginners. But beginners with money but who don't really need to learn anything (so by definition not beginners). I doubt whether the average beginner would consider hiring a turf cutter - they'd use a spade - unless they had suddenly acquired a large garden, and I mean REALLY large! The most important element of a garden is plants. In this DVD the plants had the least attention - I got the impression that tea drinking consumed more of the 35 minutes running time than plants did.- Was this review helpful to you?

Customer Review
By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008Presented by three morose individuals this could almost be considered a spoof on proper garden shows. They condescend, show you how to make pretty pots, demonstrate using a lawn digger and get caught in the rain! There is so little information on plants you could have gained more by walking down one aisle of a garden centre for two minutes. This is truly awful and I learnt nothing from it!- Was this review helpful to you?
