    [Highly rated reviewer]

The first time I seen this movie I was about 8 years of age, and I thought it was amazing. Should have been released earlier on dvd. Will be looking forward to see it again. Howard the duck is so funny, Lea Thompson character is amuzing, a good movie for all the family.

I've never seen this before. It started off really well. I thought it was a great idea and I enjoyed the first half hour or so but then it went downhill from there.

Not as good as I remember it being when I was a kid. I fell alseep half way through although I was still slightly sedated after having my wisdom teeth extracted a few hours before.

This films attempts to pay homage to the comic of the same name. however, as it fails to maintain any element of the original work apart from character names, let's treat it as a work of it's own and ignore the (I hear it's quite good) comic.

Our protagonist is a midget in a duck costume. He is quite possibly the only duck in the uncanny valley and as such i couldn't connect with his expressionless face. Duck tits and fan service from the leading lady certainly rule out a younger audience. So who is this movie aimed at?

This film can be represented as a picture of a duck that's just come out of an oil slick. Only imagine you don't like that duck.

This was one of my favourite films as a kid, must have been about 6 or 7 when I first saw it, still has it's charms and I understand more of the humour this time as an adult!

Real cheesy typical 80's comedy in parts, I would say it is intentional overacting rather than bad acting or ham acting as other bad reviews have criticised - I mean at the end of the day it is about a talking duck so c'mon! Some of the comic book characters are a bit weird anyway so I think you have to give them a bit of credit!

Saying this Lea Thompson is a clear cut above the rest. Think i'm a bit in love with her :)
