LOVEFiLM Review
-
By Tom Charity from LOVEFiLM
An eloquent cinematic feat from Martin Scorsese that is quite possibly the best family movie of the year.

Brilliant and beautifully designed film
By data (3 reviews) from London , 02 Dec 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Its just a beautifully filmed film. Its the first film where I've actually seen 3D being used to aid the storyline and the film experience rather than just using 3D for 3D's sake.
You can't help but get drawn into the characters and I just loved the style and the comic touches that were added. Well worth a watch- Was this review helpful to you?

Great Insomnia Cure!
By FDLM (1 review) , 12 Apr 2013Strongly disliked this movie! The story line was slow and to me very pointless. I found it really difficult to relate to the lead characters and build up any emotion towards them. A lot of inaccuracies and mistakes throughout the movie (use imdb as a reference). The only thing I slightly enjoyed was the story line with Sasha Baron Cohen. He provided some gentle surreal humour, a trait which he brings to every movie. In summary, don't watch unless you're having trouble sleeping!- Was this review helpful to you?

Great adaption of the book
By Beth_Alice (1 review) , 01 Apr 2013I really enjoyed hugo, after reading the book I wanted to see what the film was like. It was very similar to the book, a great adaption of it. The actors are great in it and would definitely recommend it.- Was this review helpful to you?
