[Highly rated reviewer]Hush Your Mouth left me glued to my seat until the end. Great british performances and film making and one outstanding soundtrack - I loved it!!
Gnawing at the underbellyBy Whipster (663 reviews) from Shropshire , 17 Dec 2010A quality movie that came as a real, and welcome, surprise after the weakness of the current spate of 'gangsta' outings that we're being flooded with e.g. Adulthood, Shank etc. This time the usual gangsta stereotypes and posings are left at the door. What we get is a very realistic and gritty minor story that manages to convey some real emotion. The nasty twisted underbelly of bent cops, two-faced friends, lies and what they can result in makes for an intriguing watch. You care about the main characters and this is primarily down to the realistic script and hard edged cinematography. For a change there's no reliance on glitzy or glamourised violence. This feels like a slice of reality. A quality 4 stars.
Great FilmBy a customer from London , 08 Sep 2010Although in the same territory as Kidulthood and Shifty This film is an urban movie with a difference.
The story had many layers and twists and turns, it really kept you watching. and there was a really unexpected ending.
I also thought the voice-over is clever - with some great lines.
