Unexpected joy
I never expected to watch this. I had never even heard of it until today and since I had nothing to do and this was available to watch online then I thought heck why not.
It is a teen movie and essentially a love story. Reed Fish is about to marry his childhood sweetheart when a past love returns into his life. This could only spell trouble and that it does when he ends up kissing her days before his own wedding causing a love dilemma and making him the villain of his town. Despite this he rather bravely makes a film out of his life at the time this is happening, showing himself as being the cheat and confused man that he is.
Without giving anything away the ending was a bit odd and unexpected. It was almost as if the ending was unplanned and they needed to add a twist to it.
The acting was spot on for this film and proves that low budget films can be as enjoyable as the higher budgeted ones. It is just a pity that they could not be seen by so may people and be as well enjoyed by the masses.
Worth a watch but not earth shatteringly brilliant.
