One of the best romantic comedies I've ever seenBy a customer from Suffolk, England , 16 Apr 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]This was one of the best rom/coms I've ever seen. The film isn't traditional in how it's viewed in the way it cuts about forward and backward in time. However, the way this was done made it really interesting than doing it any other way. Anthony LaPaglia and John Hannah are the characters with the most character. As for who Lucy ends up with . . well you'll be kept guessing for at least half the film, after that it's obvious. This however doesn't detract from how good it is because you are in anticipation of the ending. Rent it!

Great chick flickBy heatherf (29 reviews) from London , 29 Jun 2008With a man to cater for every taste, this is a great chick flick to be watched with a tub of ice cream on your lap!
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008Whilst setting up a friend with a blind date, Lucy tries to reassure her with her own dating history, a series of blind dates which ultimately lead to Lucy's own impending marriage. The stories of the dates are told in a progression of snippets which can at times be quite confusing as they are often very brief and jump from one to another. Whilst some of the situations which arise are amusing and actors like John Hannah and Gael Garcia Bernal make the most of the limited time available to them, ultimately the movie fails to satisfy as it always moves on just as it engages our interest.A pleasant enough film but it could have been much better.
Watchable, Candy-pop FilmBy Woolfe from England , 28 May 2007Bad things about this film:
1 - not enough Gael Garcia Bernal - which was the reason I rented it. He's only in it for about 15 minutes, max
2 - Running five plot lines alongside each other at the beginning is frustrating, just as you get into one of the relationships, it moves onto another of them.
3 - Its BLINDINGLY OBVIOUS who she is going to end up with
4 - You kind of want to know what happens to the guys she doesn't end up with, but you don't
Good things about this film:
1 - you pretty much get what you expect to get - a rom-com, which pretty much ticks all the boxes on that front
2 - Anothony La Paglia really looks like he's having fun and is a great character
Overall - bit of a wasted concept, I think, but enjoyable enough for you not to think that you have just wasted the last however many hours of your life watching it. Like reading a romantic novel, you get what you expect, but sometimes, isn't that what we want?
Great Chick FlickBy a customer from Esse , 02 May 2007I really enjoyed this even if it is a little obvious to how it's all going to turn out. I sat down one afternoon with my Mum and we loved it.
