Scary but trueBy A Richardson from Southend , 06 Oct 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]An interesting film based on a true story of a doctor accused of raping a patient. John Hannah gives a scarily creepy performance as the derranged doctor accused, whilst Estella Warren is convincing as the victim. Not the most original of true story films but nevertheless, it does make you think about people we trust so willingly.

The usual.By Sab76 (75 reviews) from Birmingham , 04 May 2011Basic made for TV movie. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Nothing different, nothing special. Watchable but thats about it.
Good for insomniacsBy a customer from Carmarthen , 29 Sep 2008Sometimes predictable stories, this is very definately that, can become worthy if somehow tension or unexpected twists can be introduced and the characters have some interest. This story just plods along with little characterisation and therefore is uninteresting.
WeakBy a customer from surrey , 25 Mar 2008What was John Hannah thinking of? He is worthy of much more than this. True story or not, it was dire, with poor acting, loathsome characters, full of loose ends and no conclusion. And small town America at its worst.
I ACCUSEBy a customer from SCOTLAND , 20 Jan 2007TYPICAL FILM ABOUT A VICTIM OF RAPE WHO ISN'T BELIEVED. BIT SLOW TO START BUT WORTH WATCHING TO THE END
