I CARE IMMENSELY!!!!!
By ALISTAIR STICKLAND from THE DARK NORTH DRINKING GOOD NORTHERN BEER , 29 Apr 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
I REMEMBERED THIS FROM MY MID TEENAGE YEARS WITH FONDNESS AND ENJOYED WATCHING IT AGAIN. I MUST ADMIT THAT I DID NOT THINK THAT THE COMEDY HAD AGED AT ALL; DARK NORTHERN HUMOUR IS MUCH LOVED EVEN BY SOUTHERNERS. THE REAL STAR IS THE SADLY NOW DEPARTED ROBIN BAILEY WHO EXCELS IN HIS ROLE. DOES ANYBODY ELSE REMEMBER HIM IN 'CHARTERS AND CALDICOTT' ? RENT THIS DVD AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT- Was this review helpful to you?

(10)Deja vous
By Andymicrobe (5 reviews) , 29 Apr 2011Good to see this vintage Tinniswood again - I last saw it it as a kid in the 1970's. I did experience deja vouis as some of the lines seem to have found their way in to the brilliant Uncle Morts North/South Country radio adapation (available from Audible).- Was this review helpful to you?
