Preposterous. I just ...
By trotsuk (117 reviews) from LONDON , 12 Oct 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
Preposterous. I just couldn't go along with the plot of this; it just doesn't work. Awful acting and not scary because most of the time you'll be rooting for the bad guy to just bloody kill them all.- Was this review helpful to you?

(35)Dull, annoying and plain stupid teen horror
By Bassman71 (619 reviews) from Didsbury, England , 10 Sep 2012Four teens, shenanigans on the beach, drive home, hit someone, cover it up, IKWYDLS.
Dull, annoying and plain stupid teen horror which takes itself very seriously and youre rooting for the killer after about twenty minutes.
The cast all look the part, complete with stereotypical Quarterback, beauty queen, sensitive one, etc. and theyre completely void of any personality that you dont care whether they live or dive.
Even the gore is pretty tame and the jump scares you can see coming a mile off.- Was this review helpful to you?

I KNOW!!...Don't Be Ironing While You Watch This.
By laneyb (256 reviews) from Rochester, Kent , 13 Feb 2012I really enjoyed this, watched it whilst doing the ironing, burnt myself twice!! I KNOW...Don't watch suspense films whilst ironing!!
Simple suspense... Films I don't need to wonder what on earth this is all about, easy to watch but with a few jumpy moments regardless of what some reviews say! Will watch again some day.- Was this review helpful to you?

Decent no brain entertainment
By Rick-Deck (19 reviews) from London , 09 Jul 2011This does what it says on the tin. It makes no bones about being a slasher flick.
Why some people watch films that they clearly wont enjoy, say in a genre that's not their bag only to slag it off makes no sense to me. Better to stick to the kind of films you enjoy.
I am as you may have noticed a fan of slasher flicks, the occasional no need to think film.
I enjoy a lot of films but for a bit of a laugh on a Sunday night this is as good as it gets for the genre, or not far off. Up there with Scream.
Lots of people clearly agree with me here as a great number of these films make a lot of money not only at the cinema but also bigtime on DVD / Blu Ray.
A decent slasher. The sequel isn't to shoddy either. But whatever you do - forget that cash in pile of dogs that is I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer - someone brought the rights to the name and made a hash of it.- Was this review helpful to you?
