I Love You, Man

Peter Klaven is a successful real estate agent, who, upon getting engaged to the woman of his dreams, Zooey, discovers to his dismay that he has no male friend close enough to serve as his best man. Peter immediately embarks on a series of bizarre and awkward 'man-dates' to find such a friend, before meeting Sydney Fife, a fun-loving, charismatic man - just Peter's oppposite - with whom he instantly bonds. But the closer the two men get, the more Peter's relationship with Zooey suffers, ultimately forcing him to choose between his fiancee and his new found 'bro', in a story that comically explores what's at the core of male friendship and what it truly means to be a friend.

    Just good fun!

    If you like deep thought provoking films, films that challenge you, make you question your deeply held beliefs then this film may not be for you;

    But if your tastes are considerably more easier going and from a film experience you want fun and a good few laughs a long the way then 'I Love You, Man' should be ticking all the right boxes for you.

    If you enjoyed 'Forgetting Sarah Marshal', 'Role Models' and 'Knocked Up' then you’re almost guaranteed to enjoy this one.

    I thought it was brilliant, fairly original and left me having left the cinema happier then when I had entered.

    SO FUNNY!

    This film was such a feel good hilarious film, the story line was just bizzare about a man who has no friends who trys to find a best man for his wedding and goes on man dates! The acting is brilliant and you don't get a bit bored at all. I was a bit apprehensive about going to see it but after hearing brilliant reviews I had to give it a go. It actually had me laughing out loud a must see film!

    I Love You, Man: Paul Rudd, Jason Segel and John Hamburg interview

    • 21 Apr 2009

    We caught up with the stars of bro-mantic comedy I Love You, Man, Paul Rudd and Jason Segel and their director John Hamburg to talk man-dates, best friends and scooters. What we didn’t figure on was Jason Segel’s ability to incorporate the Muppets into almost all of his answers. (We think he might have been doing it for a bet.) LOVEFiLM: Paul, according to Entertainment Weekly you’re the most loveable man in the movies… Paul Rudd: That was a misprint. LF: Was it? PR:... Read more
