I thought this was a good film and worth a watch for something a little different. It's about 4 guys (who are all now aged 42 I think) who went to college together and have a meet up every year or so, to get high and try and re-live part of their youth.

This year there is a bit of a twist which is the plot for the movie and I don't think I can say much more without spoiling it.

It's not a fast, exciting or action packed and you won't be blown away but definitely worth a watch if you have a couple hours to spare.

I'm giving this film a 3. 5 as I enjoyed it but will probably never watch it a second time

  • A great movie reaching the limits of excess

The title is a little off putting but this is a real gem, I enjoyed this movie form the opening credits. Great soundtrack from the off. Sex Pistols, The Specials, The Pixies, Bauhaus… even some Adam Ant. Four 40 something guys have an annual blow-out weekend up in the Big Sur. Rob Lowe is fantastic, Thomas Jane, Jeremy Piven and Christian McKay. Sasha Grey makes a cameo. Funny, dark and male bonding backed with a killer soundtrack.

This film is quite good. Rob Lowe gives a stellar performance, possibly his best. The film doesn't quite reach its full potential but worth watching once.

  • Awesome film!

This is an awesome film that will make you look at your life in a completely different way - especially if you are a male over 40! It is not an easy film to watch and it wiil leave you emotionally drained - the first half shows us 4 friends on a wild reunion and although there are underlying tensions and a feeling of unease, nothing really prepares you for the second half which hits you like a runaway train! A totally different film which I can highly recommend - for best effect, watch it on your own!

  • I would rather watch paint dry

I thought it was a pointless film where 4 friends get together get drunk, take drugs and kill themselves.

    truly a waste of time.
